Waterside Tamboti Villa is as unique as it is inviting. Offering an intimate experience for families and small groups, the villa is full of cosy nooks and quiet areas to laze away an afternoon.

The game viewing is exceptional within the camp, especially during dry season when the permanent waterhole attracts herds of elephants and buffalo. The birdlife is impressive here too, which adds a further element of entertainment when spending a quiet afternoon on the deck.

Tamboti Villa is made up of 4 double rooms, all en-suite – leading off of a central lounge and dining area. Each suite is generous in size with a sitting area, dressing room and stylish en-suite bathroom.

The large deck outside the main area with the large pool is the perfect place to relax and enjoy unsurpassed views of the game strolling by. Elegant meals are prepared by a trained chef and served outdoors whenever possible.

Morning and evening game drives are conducted by a specialist guide and tracker team, ensuring that you get the most out of the brilliant game viewing that the Thornybush Reserve offers.

Thornybush is a 14,000-hectare private nature reserve that shares a fenceless border with the famous Kruger National Park in South Africa. Big 5 encounters are the standout experiences for our guests, with visitors particularly impressed with the lion and leopard sightings.
